EUDR commodities and product scope
EUDR centers on seven commodities and specified derived products. The legal scope is determined by Annex I and CN codes, not by commodity name alone.

Commodity match is only step one
After identifying the commodity family, confirm the exact current CN code and any “ex” condition. Then identify your role, production country, geolocation needs and evidence gaps.
Why Annex I changes matter
The product list can be amended. The 2026 update clarified commodity definitions, removed or narrowed some product entries and added new products with a later 30 December 2027 application date. Avoid relying on old static product lists.
